 Coming to school in Clinton has helped me in
many ways. My
English has improved. This is important because I need to communicate
with people in this country. If I had not come to school I would
not
have learned English, and being part of the USA would have been
more
difficult. Now that I come to school I have new friends from
different
countries. We speak English to each other. I am very glad with
the
progress I have made in the study of English. I can tell you
that I
speak and write English very well now. Learning English also
helps me at
work. I understand my boss much better now, and I have a better
job than
when I did not understand English.
Being able to come to school is very important
to me. I'm happy that I
can learn English because I want to have a good life in America
