My life in America has been very
good because most of the things I thought I could do I have done.
Of course, there are still some important things to be realized.
Before I come here, I had no clue of what I was going to do to live in a different
country with a different language, different culture, different customs, etc.
I certainly knew that I was going to do some kind of hard work, one of those
that the American people didn't want to do.
Since I arrived, I've been working in different places like
restaurants, landscape companies and nursing homes. I work hard
every day but I'm very happy to have a job, make money and be
able to take care of my family.
Every day I feel like my life is getting better because besides
doing a lot of work I've been able to learn more English and
hopefully in the future I can go to college and become a professional.
