My name is Dircea Braga. I am married to Eduardo
Braga. We
have three beautiful sons, Eduardo Jose F. Braga is a pilot,
Douglas
MacArthur F. Braga is a business administrator, and Ebenezer
Fontes
Braga is a merchant and athlete, who has won many medals, even
in Japan.
I have two granddaughters and one grandson. My father is 87 years
old
and my mother is 83. They have been married for 63 years.
My father is a pastor. When I finished Theology
college, I was ordained a pastor myself and I work together with
my husband,
who is
also a pastor at Mount Zion Christian Church on 333 Pleasant
St. in
Worcester. We have a Brazilian community with about 120-130
people, whom we have helped spiritually as well as materially
by helping
them
find jobs and taking them to the hospital. I always go to the
hospital
with the ladies who are in labor, and I help them as a mother
and a
pastor. We teach them the Word of God (the Bible), we pray
when they
are sick or going through hardships. We cry with the ones that
cry and
we become happy with the ones that are happy.
We have seen God moving in our lives. I love
Jesus very much. He has helped me very much and sustained me.
On August 3, 2004,
my son
Eduardo Jose, who is the pilot, was taking a business man
to Honduras
and a little after the plane took off (6 minutes later),
the tower had
no more contact with the plane. Up to this date (12/20/05),
we have not
found them, nor the plane. This was a great pain for us,
but God
through his son, Jesus Christ, who died for us on the cross
of Calvary,
took upon him all our pain, and by his suffering, we have
been healed.
Jesus has given us strength to continue in our ministry of
pastors, for
I know in whom I have believed, and my son, alive or dead,
is in His
hands, for the Lord is sovereign in our lives.
You, who are reading this history, please know
that "God" loved
the world so greatly that He gave His only begotten son for
all that
believes in Him, do not die, but have eternal life. Give
Him your
anxieties for he has taken care of you. Give your path to
the Lord,
trust in Him, and He will do it all for you. Read the Bible-
it will
give you faith and you will be happy!
