My important holiday is Christmas.
I'm Orthodox. My Christmas
celebrates on January 7th (It is December 25th in old style).
It is a
great date for a lot of people in Russia. This holiday is great
and
important for me. Every time I wish to celebrate this holiday
in my
best way. Before Christmas time I try to clear out my house and
my
mind. I ask myself what useful and interesting things I made
for my
family, my friends and others. I'm very happy when I help others.
In
these days I think about some of my mistakes in my life and I
try to be
better. I like Christmas.
 I have in St. Petersburg the big collection of icons. It is
the great
value for my family.
I like beautiful, special decorations for this holiday. I like
when the
celebration's tablewares are from crystal and silver. On this
day I
cook special and delicious food.
Our spirits go to God.
In my new country I like the American traditions. I do all for
the best
celebration. I say, "God bless America!"
