What can I say about my mother?
I could say a lot of things about her but the page wouldn't be
long enough. Even though we argue, she always cares about me
and no matter what she was always by my side. It had been eight
years since I had seen her and we finally got the chance to talk
and to see each other once again. She was here for a short time.
That is why I had to cancel many things on my schedule but, it
was OK because I had a great time just being with her. She left
not long ago and now I have to go back to my old regular life.
We still talk and we call each other very often. I sent a tape
back with her so my father could see the things she did here.
Even though she has gone back to Puerto Rico, she still took
some memories of us with her. There is much that we experienced
together. She is a caring loving person that wanted to see us.
Eight years for some people is not that long, but when you are
far away from home and family eight years seems to be forever.
I don't know when I'm going to see her again, but hopefully it
won't take eight years as it did this time
